Is Hizbul Mujahideen hiding behind Sopore attack?

towerThe Sopore killings and targetting of telecom companies pose a new challenge to the security agencies in Kashmir. Lt General Subrata Saha the General Officer Commanding 15 Chinar Corps said that the incidents related to telecom sector in Sopore has a new dimension and army was analyzing it. While it is pretty clear that the militants are targeting telecom companies in a bid to cut off communication, the other question is who are these militants? There were posters found in the targeted areas of the Lashkar-e-Islam a lesser known militant group.  Read more:

Jaya appeal- “Don’t betray faith of Supreme Court”

Any failure to file an appeal in the J Jayalalithaa disproportionate assets case will amount to betrayal of the Supreme Court’s trust in the Karnataka judiciary, the Advocate General has told the Karnataka government. In a detailed opinion given to the Karnataka government which is delaying filing of the appeal, the Advocate General of the state, Professor Ravivarma Kumar has said that if the ends of justice are to be met, then an appeal has to be filed at any cost Read more:
